To begin the application process for Abilene Christian University's Master of Education in Higher Education, you must speak to an admissions counselor who will:
  • counsel you and determine if the program suits your individual goals;
  • guide you through the application process and ensure you meet all deadlines;
  • work with the Admissions Committee on your behalf.

Answers:
  1. How do I qualify for the MEd in Higher Education program?
    To qualify for the MEd program, you must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited university. Please see the Admission Requirements for full details.

  2. How do I apply?
    To apply for the Master of Education in Higher Education program, please contact an admissions counselor who will assist you with the application process, provide you with all necessary materials, and work with the Admission Committee on your behalf.   3. Are students successful in finding jobs after graduation?
    Yes. Our students are successful in finding jobs in their professional areas of interest and desired locations. Also, our graduates often tell us that the knowledge they gained at ACU is regularly put to use in their work.

  4. What types of jobs do students find upon graduating from the Higher Education program?
    Graduates of the Higher Education program take on a variety of jobs after graduation in areas such as recruiting and admissions, career planning and placement, intercollegiate athletics, federal TRIO programs, financial aid, first-year program, international education, intramurals, judicial affairs, student multicultural affairs, registrar, residence life, student activities, student leadership, spiritual life and volunteer and service learning.

  5. Do I need to take the GRE?
    No, the GRE or other standardized tests are not required for entry into the program.
